UK Universities Lead Qualifying Round of European-wide Investment Challenge

March 15, 2010 - PRLog -- The Bank of America Merrill Lynch sponsored challenge is an online trading game that gives teams of students the opportunity to test their trading skills and compete against fellow students from universities across Europe.  From 11 January to 11 February 2010, 211 teams took part in the month-long challenge, trading with a £10,000,000 fantasy fund across various exchanges.  

The leading teams from the first round have been invited to submit a finance-based case study that will be reviewed by a panel from BOA Merrill Lynch in round two of the challenge.  Round three will then see the top 8 teams from the second round invited to attend an Insight Week at BOA Merrill Lynch’s London offices in April.
