Ant Hive Games’ The Line nominated for Prestigious International Mobile Gaming Award

Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Ant Hive Games, one of China’s first indie mobile games company, is delighted to announce that its iPhone game, The Line, has been nominated in this year’s International Mobile Gaming Awards in the Most Innovative Game category.

Ant Hive’s The Line is a puzzle game where the player is able to shape the environment to help the game’s central character, Eddie, succeed by drawing in links on broken line paths that enable him to avoid obstacles and predators.
The Line was one of five games nominated by a panel of industry specialists to contend in the Most Innovative Game category.

Unlike many traditional games where the player is in control of the central character, in The Line the player must rapidly create directions for Eddie – not always the most predictable person - to take.

The Line’s creative director, who drives all aspects of the art and design, is Ant Hive’s Florian Garcia – a veteran of Phoenix Interactive, Ubisoft and Red Rocket Games.

The winners of the Awards will be announced at the GSMA Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona on 17 February 2011.
