Easter Sunday Brunch at the Fountains RestaurantFamilies are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring and the first long weekend break of the year by getting together at the Easter Sunday Brunch being held at Wyboston Lakes on Sunday 4th April.
By: Wyboston Lakes Guests can start the day with a variety of traditional English and American savoury items together with fresh cut fruit platter, fruit compôtes, Danish pastries and hot cross buns. The hot buffet station consists of a variety of fine roast and grilled meats and seafood, including roast sirloin of British beef with jus, stuffed shoulder of lamb, grilled fillet of seabass and house-cured and fresh-poached fish, accompanied by fresh vegetables of the season. The dessert buffet provides a chance to tuck in to some delectable puddings including freshly made pancakes with ice cream and scones with fresh strawberries and clotted cream. As Easter is synonymous with chocolate, a chocolate fountain will be available with copious amounts of delicious dipping foods. As this event is bound to be popular, tables must be pre-booked and are available from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm, allowing time to eat as much as you like when you like. Alasdair Swan, general manager, said: “The spring theme of renewal, growth and new life is truly reflected in the menu crafted by Fergus and his team. We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback after our Easter Sunday specials in recent years, and look forward to warmly welcoming back families this Easter. Children will be encouraged to try their luck in the keenly-contested annual Easter egg hunt, with all those taking part receiving an Easter egg.” Easter Sunday brunch is priced at £32.95 per person for adults, £16.00 for children aged 5-12, and £5.00 for 2-4 year-olds.
