Massachusetts Hospital Association Partners with Boston Interactive to Launch PatientCareLink

Boston Interactive, a Boston web design and interactive marketing firm, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Hospital Association (MHA) and the Massachusetts Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE), announces the launch of PatientCareLink.

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Boston, MA March 24, 2010 – Boston Interactive, a Boston web design and interactive marketing firm, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Hospital Association (MHA) and the Massachusetts Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE), announces the launch of PatientCareLink (www.PatientCareLink.org).

PatientCareLink (formerly PatientsFirst) voluntarily provides transparent information for patients, families and caregivers on staffing data and performance measures from Massachusetts’ hospitals.

MHA first partnered with Boston Interactive last year to redesign its main website highlighting the association’s communication, advocacy, and education on key healthcare issues. After a successful launch in October of 2009, MHA once again turned to Boston Interactive to take on its next project, the creation of a new website for the relaunch of PatientsFirst as it evolved into PatientCareLink. “We are thrilled to continue our relationship with MHA and launch PatientCareLink” says Jim Keller, VP of Interactive Services with Boston Interactive. “Massachusetts is home to some of the best hospitals in the world and this initiative is committed to maintaining safe, high-quality care in these facilities. It’s a very important initiative and it was essential that the new website and branding demonstrate that to both patients and caregivers.”

“Boston Interactive did a terrific job with our main site last year and again have showcased their talent and innovative touch with the launch of PatientCareLink,” said Lynn Nicholas, FACHE, President and CEO of MHA.  “The project was handled extremely well with creativity and attention to detail. MHA is very pleased with both of our new sites.”

The goals of the new website are to convey PatientCareLink’s purpose and wide array of related informational resources on safety and quality. Boston Interactive built the new website with these goals in mind, delivering a modern and clean visual design and intuitive site navigation, allowing visitors to easily learn about PatientCareLink’s mission and find the information they’re seeking. The new site also features success stories, demonstrating the positive impact the initiative has had in hospitals throughout the Commonwealth. The site now serves as the face of quality and safety for hospitals in Massachusetts.
