March 25, 2010 - PRLog -- The International Parliament for Safety and Peace Association has launched its Indian wing - Indian Federation of International Parliament for safety and Peace Association under the leadership of Dr. Vikrant Singh – a leading International personality in the field of social work and education and who has pioneered many social work initiatives in India.

The International Parliament for safety and Peace Association is a Inter-governmental Organization based in Italy and is on the lines of United Nations. The Indian wing under the presidentship of Dr. Vikrant Singh would work as a affiliated national association for the parent international body and has entered into a logistical partnership with CCLP Worldwide to work jointly in the area of peace and education.

The three and half decade old International Parliament for Safety and Peace incorporates many international organizations and endowments which are working for the benefit of the society particularly the unprivileged community in order to develop and give impetus to the principles of the declaration of universal human rights.

It is noteworthy to mention that The International Parliament for Safety and Peace intervened several times in many international conflicts and diplomatic crises, such as the clash between Turkey and Cyprus; the crisis between Somalia and Ethiopia, the conflicts in Uganda, Central Africa, Mali and Chad, the war in the Middle East, the civil war in Sri Lanka, the war between Iraq and Iran, the war in the former Yugoslavia, the civil war in Rwanda, the crises and the conflicts in Congo, Angola, Mozambique and Zaire, against racism in South Africa, the civil war in Moldavia, the war between Russia and Chechnya, the different wars in central Asia, the war between Ecuador and Peru in 1995, against the racial and ethnical violence all around the world, finally against the resumption of the nuclear tests of France and most recently in the rivalry between Equatorial Guinea and Gabon over the Island of Mbane in the 2000's.

It is believed that, the setting up of the Indian accredited body of IPSP would bring the subcontinent in the forefront of the International map.
