Follow on Google News | Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Now On T-MobileThe X10 is Sony Ericsson's latest Xperia phone and the first to feature the Android OS, the Sony X10 is now available on T-Mobile tariffs from free.
By: Susan Hargreaves The Sony Ericsson X10 was first announced well over a year ago and had the mobile world excited with its huge range of features and technology. Offering a large 4 inch touch screen display was unheard of but due to delays to the release of this handset this is no longer the largest on the market with that title going to the HTC HD2 with its massive 4.3 inch screen. However, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 does have one claim to fame, it is the first Android device to offer a camera above the 5.0 mega pixel mark packing in an 8.1 mega pixel lens with a raft of camera features which the manufacturer is renowned for. The Sony X10 makes use of the same high powered 1GHz processor found in the recently launched HTC Desire and Google Nexus One phones, this means that application load and run without any lag time and navigating through the phones menu is a breeze. Sony Ericsson have incorporated two new features into their latest phone, these are called Timescape which acts very much like the MOTOBlur service from Motorola and FriendStream from HTC by bringing together emails, text, Facebook, Twitter and other social networking updates into a single stream of information keeping the user up to date with all of their friends activities. The second is called Mediascape which allows the user to view all of their music or browse online all on one screen. Sony Ericsson have also been busy releasing non ANdroid phones with their latest release being the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz which is now available in three different colour schemes, the Vivaz Silver, Red and Black editions.
