Job Kiosk- Launches a simple job search engine.

March 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The team behind JobKiosk have been working overtime for the last few months in preparation for launching their new online job search engine. There are many jobs aggregators in existence already so you may be inclined to think that another one was perhaps unnecessary?

The theory behind this particular ‘jobs board’ or ‘job search engine’ was to minimise a jobseekers  time when searching for vacancies across multiple career portals, registering and ultimately applying for a limited pool of vacancies hosted by one site and having to do exactly the same thing again on another.

It was also designed to be truthful when displaying search results so that only relevant vacancies are displayed when a search is submitted. You may also notice that the site has limited ‘heavy’ graphical content and this was paramount within the focus of the original brief to produce required results, fast.

JobKiosk display roles from existing jobs boards free of charge and only require them to match to an XML feed in order to upload and host. Already JobKiosk have had strong success in attracting major boards and are hosting 120’000 roles at the time that this was written.

Although the site is ready for use right now, the team are constantly developing and adapting so expect further improvements and additional functionality over the coming weeks and months and watch this space
