Elant, Inc. Names Maura Brennan New Elant At Brandywine Executive Director

April 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Maura Brennan, an experience health care professional, was recently named the new executive director of Elant at Brandywine, a 131-bed nursing home and rehabilitation center in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.

Maura has been Elant at Brandywine’s associate administrator in charge of day-to-day operations since December 2007. In December 2009 Maura earned her Nursing Home Administrator license from St. Joseph’s College and SUNY Institute of Technology. Maura also has a Bachelors degree in Community Health Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale.

Maura began her career at Elant’s Fishkill campus almost 20 years ago. A decade (and several promotions) later, Maura was named to the position of Employee Resources director of the facility before it became part of the Elant network.

“I’ve been working with the elderly all my life and I’ve always enjoyed being a part of their lives,” Maura said. “And at Brandywine I’ve especially learned that by paying attention to the ‘small’ needs of others, you can really make a big difference in the lives of our residents. It’s been a pleasure so far, and I’m excited about the future.”
