Haiti Benefit Concert Hosted by Cary Church of God on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 10:30 am
Raising funds to help the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

Cary Church of God is pleased to announce that it is hosting a benefit concert for the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

All seats are free. A free will offering will be taken to benefit the Haiti Relief Fund.

Cary Church of God is partnering with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to present a concert benefiting Brooklyn Tabernacles’ Haiti Relief Fund which is exclusively used to feed children and to rebuild established Brooklyn Tabernacle ministries in the Haitian cities of Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.

In this not-to-be-missed concert, special guest Onaje Jefferson, Brooklyn Tabernacle’s worship pastor, co-writer, and soloist will perform Brooklyn Tabernacle’s new release, “Declare Your Name,” in concert with the Cary Church of God’s Voices of Praise Choir.

“Our goal is to raise money to help Haiti and to donate those funds to an established organization where they can be utilized immediately, “ said Richard Dial, Cary Church of God’s senior pastor. “Haiti’s plight cannot be forgotten. We want to reach out to people in our communities and beyond and to invite them to help us help Haiti. We believe that by serving people, God’s name will be declared in Haiti. “

“We are excited and honored to have Brooklyn Tabernacle’s worship pastor, Onaje Jefferson performing the new release ‘Declare Your Name,’ with our Voices of Praise Choir.  Brooklyn Tabernacle used 'Declare Your Name' to raise money for Haiti and now they are partnering with us to do the same," said Kerry Crespo, Cary Church of God’s worship and arts pastor.

The Haiti Benefit Concert will be held in the church sanctuary, admission is free and child care will be provided. Brooklyn Tabernacle “Declare Your Name” CDs will be available for purchase at a discounted price of $10.00 in the Cary Church of God’s main lobby. Three dollars from the purchase of each CD will be donated to the Haiti Relief Fund.
