Hooter’s kick a goal in sponsoring U’16 AFL team

Hooters Australia is a proud new sponsor of the U’16 Broadbeach AFL club, on the Gold Coast.

Hooters have expanded their ‘family restaurant’ title to include sponsorship of a young up and coming community AFL team.

“We are a family based restaurant and we like to support the communities where we operate. We are not a strip club or sleazy bar and we offer special children’s meals to encourage all families to come into our restaurant.

“The Broadbeach AFL Club love our sponsorship and just as equally we enjoy supporting this local team. We have injected money into a club to allow these young adults  to have the chance to do what so many other kids all over Australia want to do- just have fun and play footy!” said Morney Schlebusch, Chief Operating Officer, Hooters Restaurants Australia.

Like all companies, Hooters Australia carefully choose which commodities and brands they choose to pour sponsorship dollars into and this time they have decided a team in their area to support is an appropriate fit. In return the families of the U’16 club support the restaurant by dining there and enjoying the huge selection of great food.

Together with the above Hooters Australia are also committed to:

•   Raising money for the Westmead Children’s Hospital

•   Raising money for prostate and breast cancer

•   Sponsoring the Little League of Legends- which is for under privileged children

The latest sponsorship of the Broadbeach U’16 AFL team shows that Hooters Australia is not just kicking goals in their restaurant but on the footy field as well!
