I deeply feel the matter of life is precious and preventing substance abuse and drinking and driving urgent.

My mom was killed by an 18 year-old drunk driver in 2000. I was hit twice and nearly killed by a drunk driver (a 61 year-old woman driving on a revoked license) in 2008. The woman was arrested and received her 2nd DUI in two years.

If just one life can be saved by getting this video out and creating more self-awareness than it is worth being proactive, lifting up my voice and forewarning others about the dangers of substance abuse and drunk driving.

Drinking and driving is a deadly combination. Family and friends are too precious to play with and jeopardize by allowing someone who is drunk to drive behind the wheel of an automobile.

I lost a friend in high school due to DUI ...a premature death that could have been avoided. I was numb through the whole funeral, feeling as if "This shouldn't be happening."

I shall never forget the despair on the faces of his parents, sister and girlfriend ...images forever burned on my heart.

Send this video to someone you love and care about to warn them about the dangers of drunk driving and the great harm and loss of life that can occur in an instant when we are careless and behave irresponsibly.

Be a voice of reason to speak to the conscience of people throughout society to prevent such careless behavior that removes lives and pains families.
