By: Squash PR on behalf of Cuttlestones The oil on canvas, entitled ‘Nude Girl with Death’s Head’ is by Renfrewshire- McClure then returned to his Scottish roots, holding the post of lecturer in painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee from 1957 to 1983. Throughout his illustrious career McClure exhibited worldwide; this particular painting was bought by a private collector at a Scottish exhibition in the 1970s and has remained in their hands ever since, making its sale all the more exciting.
