Upcoming Webinar: Research Supporting Reading Program

On Thursday, May 27th 2010, 2:00 PM MST, Reading Horizons will be hosting a webinar with ESL specialist, Heidi Hyte, discussing recent research on reading instruction on how it fits into Reading Horizons new v5 reading program.
 
May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Reading Horizons is hosting a webinar featuring recent research on reading instruction and how the findings fit into Reading Horizons new v5 reading program. The webinar will be presented by ESL (English as a Second Language) specialist, Heidi Hyte, on Thursday, May 27th 2010, at 2:00 PM MST.

The webinar will explore the latest research from reading experts and a review of the best practices in reading instruction. The presentation will discuss how the research was incorporated into Reading Horizons new v5 reading program.

Heidi Hyte is an ESL (English as a Second Language) specialist and the curriculum director of Reading Horizons. Hyte earned her Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Brigham Young University. Through her education and experiences teaching reading to students with English as a Foreign Language domestically and abroad in Samoa, Africa, China, Taiwan, California, and Utah; she gained the experience needed to direct the curriculum changes of Reading Horizons new v5 reading program.
