Follow on Google News | Grand Opening of the First Max Muscle Sports Nutrition Store in TennesseeThe first Max Muscle Sports Nutrition store to open in Tennessee, Max Muscle Cool Springs, will celebrate its grand opening on June 5 at its location in Franklin with special guest appearances by Tennessee Titans and pro bodybuilders.
By: The Sociable Scribe Max Muscle Sports Nutrition was founded in 1990 by athletes with a passion for fitness and a commitment to healthy living. In fact, Jamie Free, owner of Max Muscle Cool Springs, is himself a former high school and college athlete. But he's also a self-described "reformed overweight kid" turned Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach. "I used to struggle with my weight. Once I learned that it's 85 percent nutrition, I saw how Max Muscle's products helped me attain, and then maintain, my goals. So, yes, I don't just sell Max Muscle products. I use them every day as a part of my own fitness regimen." As part of the grand opening festivities, Max Muscle Cool Springs will have special guests on hand. From nine a.m. to noon, IFBB Pro Peter Putnam and his wife, fitness model Jessica Putnam, will sign autographs and talk with fitness enthusiasts. Then from one p.m. to four p.m., Tennessee Titans fullback Ahmard Hall and Titans running back Javon Ringer will sign autographs and meet fans. They'll also bring along an autographed Titans game jersey to be raffled off to one lucky winner. "I've had people tell me the name 'Max Muscle' is a little intimidating," In 2004, the Max Muscle franchise began expanding nationwide. It now has over 100 stores around the United States. Max Muscle Cool Springs is the first Max Muscle franchise in Tennessee. It is located in Franklin at 2000 Meridian Boulevard, Suite 108 in the Meridian Plaza with Boscos and Noshville. Max Muscle Cool Springs will also donate a portion of proceeds from the day's event to the Williamson County Red Cross in support of flood victims. "We realize the importance of community," Free says. "As the first Max Muscle Sports Nutrition store to open in Tennessee, we want to show our commitment to the community we've chosen to call home by supporting it during its time of need."
