Premier Guitar announces new senior editor

June 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Premier Media Holdings, LLC, publishers of the Premier Guitar (http://www.premierguitar.com) and Guitar Edge (http://www.guitaredge.com) multimedia networks, announced today that the widely read and acclaimed veteran guitar journalist Andy Ellis has joined the editorial staff of Premier Guitar as Senior Editor.

Over the last 20 years, Ellis has helped hundreds of thousands of players improve their playing, tone, and overall musicianship with his highly informative and engaging features, columns, and lessons—which have appeared in virtually every US guitar magazine and on many websites.

Ellis took up classical and electric guitar during his formative years in Europe and Lebanon, and he later attended Berklee College of Music. The author of several popular instructional books (including How to Play Rock Guitar and How to Play Blues Guitar), he’s an accomplished guitarist who’s active on the Nashville scene. Ellis also hosts a weekly radio show, The Guitar Show with Andy Ellis, which airs on Radio Free Nashville and streams online three nights a week from community stations in Nashville and San Antonio.
