MGS improves its top-selling pharmaceutical outserter, the TopSerter™

June 8, 2010 - PRLog -- The TopSerter™, widely used by pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract packagers, automatically feeds pharmaceutical outserts, applies hot melt adhesive, and places it onto the tops of bottles. The machine handles glass and plastic bottles, round and rectangular, with both metal and plastic caps. It operates with the bottles coming at random.

Features and benefits of the new TopSerter™ II include: easy installation (self-contained to slide up to existing conveyors); a clean design that reduces the possibility of lost outserts; an easy to load horizontal powered outsert magazine; flexibility to add the unit either as a line component or to fit over an existing conveyor; and a wide range of optional features. Automatic loading of outserts into the new TopSerter™ II is also available.

The new TopSerter™ II is capable of operating at speeds up to 175 bottles per minute. With optional timing screw, the new TopSerter™ II can handle up to 250 bottles per minute.
