Vincent J. Truglia Appointed Managing Director of Global Economic Research

Mr. Truglia has worked as a Wall Street economist for 34 years.  Most recently, he was the Managing Director of Global Economic Research for NewOak Capital LLC.  Before that he was the Managing Partner at Windy Hill Associates.  Mr. Truglia worked for 15 years at Moody's where he headed the Sovereign Risk Unit.  Before joining Moody's he was with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Bank of New York/Irving Trust, and NCNB Charlotte (now the Bank of America).  At Moody's Mr. Truglia was responsible for the ratings of over 100 countries, 20+ supranationals, and hundreds of government related companies for the fixed-income market.  Over time he has been involved in analyzing almost every economic and banking crisis around the world.  He has an MA and ABD from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in International Economics, a BSFS in International Affairs from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Washington, DC.  In addition he did graduate work on a Ford Foundation Grant at Trinity College , Dublin, Ireland, and studied at the Universita per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy.
