SCDM Annual Conference Expands Focus to Medical Device Trials

Special Device Sequence will focus on unique challenges of data management in device trials and includes a roundtable discussion with representatives of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Device and Radiological Health.
 
June 14, 2010 - PRLog -- MILWAUKEE – The Society for Clinical Data Management will add medical device-specific education sessions to its 2010 conference program.

The special Device Sequence will focus on the unique challenges of data management in device trials. It includes a roundtable discussion with representatives of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Device and Radiological Health, designed to serve as a starting point for an ongoing dialogue between the device industry and the FDA.

The 2010 SCDM Annual Conference is scheduled for October 17-20 in Minneapolis, MN. As in past years, the program will also offer education sessions for CDM personnel at pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research companies, as well as industry vendors.
