June 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Original online game show Red Carpet Run, has been named a finalist in NATPE’s Next TV competition in the category of Reality/Unscripted/Lifestyle/DIY.

The annual competition, sponsored in part by E! Entertainment Television, takes place July 12-15 in Los Angeles as part of the LA TV Festival.  All finalists will be screened at the festival and the category winner could get a development meeting with the network.

“Whatever happens, this is a big win for Red Carpet Run because it’s opening the content to a wider audience. We had a blast making the show, and put a lot of fun into the programming. We’re tremendously excited about sharing that with as many people as we can,” said Michael Todd Cohen, the show’s creator and Executive Producer.

On the show, celeb-obsessed contestants are put through the ultimate trivial pursuit, challenging their knowledge of all things Hollywood as they run their final round – high speed! – on a moving treadmill.

Red Carpet Run is hosted by the Food Network’s comedian extraordinaire Noah Starr. New episodes are posted Thursday mornings on redcarpetrun.tv — perfect for those suffering from a work-weary week to tune in before coffee break.
