June 28, 2010 - PRLog -- If you have tried to get a loan for your small business and for some reason or another you just couldn’t attain that loan, don’t fret.  In order to help small businesses start and succeed in the United States, the Small Business Administration (SBA) was created. The SBA has several loans available for small businesses like yours and mine.  Although the Small Business Administration (SBA) has a few different types of loans, their most popular loan is the SBA 7(a) loan.  This loan type is SBA’s main and most accommodating loan, which is designed in particular for growing small businesses along with small businesses that are just starting out.  In order for you to be considered for a loan, it is extremely important for your small business to build business credit so the lender can see how your business has faired in the past.

The Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 7(a) loan was created with small business Entrepreneurs in mind.  If you have tried to get loans from banks and other lending institutions and they have declined, don’t end your search there.  Do some research on the Small Business Administration and what they have done in the past for other Entrepreneurs like you.  The SBA will guarantee a loan for your small business so it can grow and strive.  What this means is that the SBA will not actually give you a loan, but will guarantee a loan for you from a SBA approved bank or lending institution.  In addition, the SBA in essence will tell that approved lending institution that if you default on your loan for some reason, they will take responsibility of that loan and pay off that loan to a certain percent. This backing from the Small Business administration gives your loan credibility right away.
