July 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner William Fitzgerald was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program. Fitzgerald donated the grant to the Suffern Youth Hockey Association, where he volunteers. The organization introduces local youth to ice hockey and encourages exercise, teamwork and sportsmanship, and the grant will be used to help children that do not have the necessary funds to participate.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Irvington community every single day,” said Fitzgerald, whose office is located at 130 Main Street. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to Suffern Youth Hockey and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved.”
