Chem-Dry Carpet Tech Awarded Carpet & Rug Institute Platinum Seal of Approval



In recognition of industry excellence, the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) has expanded its testing and certification program awarding Chem-Dry Carpet Tech its Platinum Seal of Approval



Northridge, California June 23, 2010 – Chem-Dry Carpet Tech has been awarded, The Carpet & Rug Institute Platinum Seal of Approval. This is the highest award one may achieve in recognition to products, equipment, services effectively removing more than 90% of soil from the carpet. CRI utilizes a NASA enhanced x-ray fluorescence technology and stringent testing criteria including water removal, texture retention, pH balance, re-soil rate, optical brighteners and colorfastness, to evaluate carpet cleaning effectiveness.  The CRI Seal of Approval testing and certification also includes products marketed for the removal of pet stains and odors. Chem-Dry Carpet Tech has easily met these requirements and exceeded expectations.
