GPS Tracking Specialists Smart-Azz improves product reception.

Aug. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Smart-Azz said today that the antennas would be available immediately, and would also be offered in combination with the company’s existing tracking systems. All of their GPS Trackers currently have strong internal antennas, enabling users to install the Trackers easily with a minimum of connections. However the new aerials are now offered as an alternative to enhance reception in areas where normal reception is less reliable. They can also be fitted to existing installations.

Product Development Manager for Smart-Azz, Burt Joubert, said “most of our customers find the internal antennas provide very good reception in all areas. The new aerials are really all about enhancing communications in difficult installations and remote areas where reception is less reliable.”

Smart-Azz's Tracking units communicate to mobile phones over the cellular network, using text messaging.

The company’s Boat and Vehicle Trackers will all retain their internal antennas, part of the company's goal of simplicity in installation and use. The Trackers feature both a GSM antenna for cellular network reception and a GPS antenna that provides Global Positioning information via satellites.
