The last time I as a U.S. citizen visited a Canadian doctor, he found nothing wrong with me and had the receptionist refund my $75. That would NEVER happen in the USA. Plus I didn't have to wait in two or three waiting rooms as I do in the States where you have to sign a stack of legal documents before a physician will even see you. The orthopedic doctor I saw a week ago in the U.S. had his medical staff make me sign a form which read: "I have been treated for _________________." I interjected, "No x-rays were done." Hence the ongoing medical fraud occurring across the U.S. and the high prices by which citizens are made to pay ridiculous insurance fees and for healthcare, without which they will not be seen by physicians. Today a urology clinic refused to take my car insurance in Orlando (which agreed to pay for the visit due to me being hit by a car when I was on my bicycle). Canada works a lot better than corporation nation a bit south. I'm praying Canada can find an island in the Caribbean to bring into the Commonwealth so I can move there. As a Floridian I like my warm weather, but clean water, healthcare and a country that cares about its people more than war without end abroad has great appeal. Mark my words the United States of America, a.k.a. "corporation nation" is on its way down globally and Canada on its way up in the eyes of the international community.
