Critical Lessons from the Federal Response to the Gulf Oil Spill
 
Aug. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON — Following a trip to the Gulf Coast to assess the federal response to the oil spill, Daniel Kaniewski and James Carafano analyze what went wrong and offer recommendations for improving the federal government’s capacity to respond to future crises. Specifically, Kaniewski and Carafano call for more resources for the US Coast Guard and for federal response efforts to be synchronized and managed under the National Response Framework.
