Aug. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Have you always wanted to play soccer but are unsure of the rules or even how to play the game?  Look no further Soccertrainingexercises.org to the rescue.  You can learn beginner soccer drills for young soccer players like running the length of the field, or at least half of the field, while kicking the ball slightly.  Dribbling skills are great for soccer players, but if they cannot move in the open field, they will not be able to strike, defend, or create forward progress.  Another drill to consider for young soccer players is in regards to defense. Have two players set up near the goalie, and have two strikers attack. When the two offensive players move in, passing the ball, have the defenders approach them and try to take the ball, before the offense can shoot the ball towards the goal.

If you are new to the game and you would like to learn the different positions this site is for you.  The first position on a soccer team is the goalkeeper. This player is positioned close to the goal and is meant to keep the other team from scoring points. This is the only soccer player that is allowed to use his hands. The goalkeeper may use his hands to stop the ball if he is within the penalty box, the area around the goal.  The second position is the fullbacks. The fullbacks are typically positioned behind all the other players on their team except the goalkeeper.  Then there are the midfielders these two to four players are positioned in front of the fullbacks and last but definitely not least are forwards which are the offensive players at the front of the team.
