The Montclair Art Museum Organizes an Affordable Art Fair

The museum is now accepting applications from regional artists who would like to participate in its first affordable art fair.
 
Aug. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- The Montclair Art Museum is now accepting applications from regional artists who would like to participate in its first affordable art fair.  MAM is organizing "Collecting Art: An Affordable Art Fair" in conjunction with the exhibition "Living for Art: The Dorothy and Herbert Vogel Collection."  Collecting Art aims to offer an outlet for the sale of artworks made by local and emerging artists and also to promote the affordable collecting of contemporary art for visitors. Artists will offer their works between the price range of $50 and $500.  The fair will be held on Sunday, October 24, noon to 5 p.m.  MAM will also be offering free admission to the Museum galleries throughout the day.
