Vicini LLC Opens Office in CoHabitat Shreveport

Sept. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Vicini LLC announces its opening in Shreveport, Louisiana.  The offices are located in Cohabitat Shreveport-Bossier, 610 Commerce Street in downtown Shreveport. Vicini LLC is an urban planning firm providing professional planning and consulting services for clients which manage, maintain, and plan for public, private, and labor infrastructure with a focus in the public sector market in the Ark-La-Tex region. The firm’s principles include a commitment to sustainability without compromising future generations' needs.

Pedro is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science degree concentrating in Computer Information Systems and also holds a Master's of Science in Environmental Planning & Management with a Minor in Disaster Science and Management from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.  

Upon graduation, she worked as an Information Technology Director and Program/Project Manager.  Additionally, she completed an internship for the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League on a variety of environmental conservation and water quality projects and has had a professional paper published in a trade journal.  Stephanie has modeled storm surge depth in relation to socioeconomic populations at the LSU Hurricane Center, which also served as her Master’s thesis topic:  Hurricane Vulnerable Populations in Orleans Parish.  

Stephanie worked with the LSU GIS team at the Louisiana Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to provide Federal, state and local agencies and emergency responders quick access to data and maps in support of critical hurricane response missions following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. From 2006-2010, Stephanie worked at the Regional Planning Commission as a transportation planner and GIS analyst where her responsibilities included transit, bicycle and pedestrian improvement project management, and demographic and economic estimate and projection development for the New Orleans metropolitan region.
