Florida Representative D. Alan Hays Visits Central Florida Institute, Inc.

Sept. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Florida representative and current florida senate candidate, d.alan hays, visits central florida institute, inc. Orlando campus. Representative hays, a retired dentist, took the opportunity to visit the medical and dental training school and meet with cfi students, staff and faculty. He toured the cfi campus on sept. 7 and enjoyed speaking to cfi students and sharing stories with the students of his experience within the dental field.

When meeting with cfi students, he asked them questions about their career choices and how cfi is assisting them in their goals. Hays supports career schools stating how imperative the career education sector is in helping employers find quality employees in a variety of fields, particularly healthcare, as well as potential students having the options to find the best educational environment to meet their specific needs and goals. As a florida representative, he has worked to add value to career education and hopes to enhance those efforts as a senator of florida.

As a practicing dentist for over 30 years, representative hays believes the dental assistant of 28 years within his practice was integral in buildinga successful practice and shared the value of the career with cfi dental assistant students.

Hays, a republican, resides inwinder garden, florida, with his wife and has three daughters. He is a retired dentist, served in the u.s.coast guard from 1967 to 1970, and currently serves in florida’s house of representatives. He was elected to the house in 2004. Hays serves as vice-chair of the health quality committee, sits on the audit & performance committee, the healthcare committee, and the joint administrative procedures commission. Representative hays is a member of the florida medical association council on legislation.
