Sept. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner John Mannara was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program.

Mannara donated the grant to the Bethpage Community Foundation, which helps local parents and teens by providing community events, after school programs, clothing, and financial support for underprivileged families.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Bethpage community every single day,” said Mannara, whose office is located at 4123 Hempstead Turnpike. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to the Community Foundation and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved.”
