DENVER – Knowing a key to effective marketing is consistent messaging, Adrenalin, The Brand Expansion Team™, has authored a “Brand Guide” for directors, officers and committee members of the Colorado Chapter of the American Marketing Association to provide guidance on how to consistently carry our their duties. Sally Mayberry , 2009-2010 Colorado American Marketing Association (COAMA) President, had a vision to bring the Brand Guide to the chapter’s volunteers, members and potential members as a way to instill a distinct Colorado personality into a nationally affiliated organization. Like most trade associations, the Colorado AMA frequently turns over volunteer directors and officers in an effort to supply fresh leadership and consistently high energy levels. The Brand Guide that Adrenalin assembled for the Colorado AMA will help to make transitions for officers go very smoothly and it will also provide a reference to officers whenever they may need guidance in how to perform the official duties. Colorado AMA Vice President of Brand Management Bryan Kimbell, who also serves as Adrenalin’s Director of Accounts and Business Development, adjusted the Chapter’s strategic vision and mission to reflect current and future goals. Adrenalin also used a previously developed Brand Platform to help make the content of the Brand Guide clear and concise in its tone and message. “The Colorado AMA is certainly positioned to play a vibrant role in the marketing community, but if its leaders and officers are unclear on how to carry out their duties, it will be more difficult for them to be effective,” said Adrenalin’s Director, Accounts & Business Development, Bryan Kimbell. “The Brand Guide is designed to be a base for those marketing professionals who step up to volunteer in a leadership role with the Colorado AMA so they will know what is expected of them and how they can immediately make a positive impact.” “This is the first time in more than 50 years that Colorado AMA is implementing a tool such as this to guide the leadership of the Chapter. With the excellent leadership of Adrenalin, COAMAs journey from a good chapter to a great one is becoming reality. Clear, consistent, and systematic communication is imperative for any organization to thrive, and this Brand Guide accomplishes all three. It is a succession planning tool that sets clear expectations and identifies behaviors needed for our Chapter to continue its success,” said Mayberry.
