Peace Day Cape Coral Fort Myers 2010 Will Be Fun For The Family

Sept. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Tie Wear Clothing will be at Peace Day Cape Coral this year showcasing Handmade Purses, Handmade Accessories, Handmade Bags, Handmade Computer Bags and more. Just look for Jessica at the Tie Wear Clothing tent!

Come join us at Jaycee Park from 12-5 to celebrate the International Day of Peace! It's a free event - all they ask is that you bring some canned goods for the local food bank (last year they collected over 600 lbs and want to double that this year.)

There will be music, food, handmade clothing, handmade purses, meditations, feng shui vendors, holistic/metaphysical shops, jewelry making, etc. The Cape Coral Fire Department will be there with one of their big trucks for the kids (both young and old) - and they will also have the Big Red Bus there so we can do a blood drive.

We will also have Christene Johnson-Lee who is an extremely talented animal communicator/healer; bring your pet or a picture of your pet. There will also be readers, mediums, and tarot readers.

Last year they had over 600 attendees and expect between 700-900 this year!

September 21st has been recognized as an International Day of global cease-fire and non-violence; a Day of Peace. Belief is just the beginning, let us come together in our beliefs to support PEACE ONE DAY.

Enjoy a positive experience- there will be artisans with booths for soothing massage, a wide variety of local vendors sharing their trinkets and art, a pet communicator, music, intuitive readings, and so much more. Lounge on the grass, dance or hoop to the music, maybe to the beat of your own drum. Kick back, relax and expand your mind with keynote speakers, while you enjoy a cold drink and a bite to eat. Expect good conversations with new and old friends alike, as we join together in support of PEACE ONE DAY.

(This year we will be accepting canned good’s to share. For every 2 cans of food donated by you, get a free raffle ticket toward some peaceful presents.)

This is a FREE event, to be enjoyed by the whole family; there will be something for everyone, even your pets. Cultivate a day of peace and unity by embracing the joy and beauty that surrounds us right here in South West Florida!
