Press Conference Mon Sept 20: Shelley Madore for Congress

Sept. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- (Apple Valley, Minn.) – Second Congressional District candidate Shelley Madore will hold a press conference on Monday, September 20 at 3:00 p.m. at 101 W. Burnsville Parkway, Burnsville. The event will highlight Real Issues facing individuals and families today, and present incumbent Republican John Kline with a debate challenge. Candidate Kline is expected to be in Burnsville on Monday and the press conference will be held outside his Burnsville campaign headquarters.

Last week, Representative Kline refused an invitation from the League of Women Voters and 5 Eyewitness News to debate his DFL challenger, former state representative Shelley Madore on October 2. Mr. Kline's office initially cited a scheduling conflict but when offered the opportunity to choose another weekend day and time in October, his campaign stated that he was too busy.
