The new Term Contribution feature provides direct submission of terms using a simple web-based interface. Users can also easily add comments to new or existing terms in a collaborative way to help guide validation. Term Contribution is also integrated with term harvesting by allowing new terms in checked documents to be submitted easily. These features allow users to build collaborative term validation processes that work much more effectively than traditional rigid workflows. acrolinx IQ Reuse The usability of the acrolinx IQ Reuse module has been greatly streamlined. acrolinx IQ Reuse promotes content reuse by making suggestions of linguistically similar content during authoring. Users can find existing content via Reuse suggestions through checking documents or by typing keywords or phrases in the web-based search feature. With a few clicks, acrolinx IQ Reuse can connect to translation memory content. Leveraging translated content provides huge savings for companies that deliver products globally. Write it once, translate it once and use it many times. New Plug-in SDK and Java Client API acrolinx IQ 2.0 brings a plug-in SDK that makes the development of plug-in integrations much faster. Additionally, enhanced API support makes it even easier to integrate acrolinx IQ with third-party applications. "In June we released our first plug-in developed with our new SDK, acrolinx IQ for IBM Lotus Notes," said acrolinx Product Manager, Olivia Voils. "The SDK will shorten release cycles for existing plug-ins, such as the upcoming Microsoft Word plug-in update, and will allow faster development for completely new integrations. The inception of our new Java client API also allows for more efficient development. In a relatively short time, we've managed to develop a prototype integration for Eclipse." New Enterprise Batch Checker The new Enterprise Batch Checker offers powerful batch checking functionality as well as a check & apply feature and website checking.
