Celebrate the Wonders of Autumn in Laguna Beach’s HIP District

Sept. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- A trip to Laguna Beach is not complete without a tour through the HIP District, where both locals and tourists find the best shopping, dining, art and accommodations in town.  The HIP District is located South on Pacific Coast Highway between the streets of Anita and Bluebird Canyon.
During October, The Laguna Nursery truly shines! Firstly, make sure you take advantage of 20% off all pottery, ceramics and fountains at the Nursery—they truly have some beautiful items to choose from.

Don’t miss the Laguna Nursery Herb Extravaganza Weekend on October 16th and 17th, where huge herb selection tables will be displayed, along with seminars at 10AM on each day. Plus, there will be a Herb Bake, where you can learn about herbs then join in a cooking class that will feature dishes such as Cuban Adobo Grilled Chicken and Rosemary Shortbread with specialty cocktails like the Basil Gin Fizz.
And what would October be without a Pumpkin Carving Contest? At noon on Saturday, October 30th, bring your pumpkin to the Nursery’s parking lot and carve your scariest jack-o-lantern—win prizes up to $200!
In the art world, The Cove Gallery continues to feature sculptor Berry You’s contemporary ceramics during the month of October. Plus, painter and guest artist Farshid  Babazadeh exhibits his works inspired by the mysteries of nature.
