By: Gabe O'Neill Other heroes in attendance will be Adele Taylor and Nicholas Giordano from New Jersey, Calista Pierce, Austin Pierce, Kennedy Kulish and Jordan Brown from Pennsylvania, Carter Ries and Olivia Ries from Georgia, Evan Frank from West Virginia and Jacob Krause, Emma Franceschina, John Sun, Casey Landahl and MaryMargaret O’Neill from Maryland. Levar Fisher, a former Arizona Cardinal turned youth motivational speaker will also be on hand that day delivering one of his powerful yet fun speeches to all in attendance. In recognition of their efforts the local government has officially declared October 23rd as "Kids Are Heroes Day". Kids Are Heroes (http://www.kidsareheroes.org) was founded in 2008 by then 9-year-old MaryMargaret O'Neill. It started as a project she and her dad worked on together and blossomed into an international non-profit featuring over 100 young philanthropists from all over the world. By showcasing these wonderful children and their selfless deeds, the pair have been inspiring other children to get involved and do something on their own.
