The Francetic & Heistand Team Posts $4.45 Million Sale in Winter Park -- City's Largest This Year

Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- WINTER PARK, FL – The Francetic & Heistand Team of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Winter Park recently listed and sold the largest residential sale in Winter Park this year and one of the largest in Central Florida to date with the sale of a $4.45 million lakefront estate in the upscale Windsong community.
   The property is located at 243 Genius Drive in Windsong’s Lakeside neighborhood.
   Realtors David Francetic and Shelley Heistand, Winter Park property specialists who joined forces in January of last year, handled both sides of the multi-million-dollar transaction for the luxury property selected as 2009 Home of the Year by HOME AND LEISURE magazine.
   According to sales figures from the Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA), the sale is the largest this year in Winter Park and could be a strong sign that the high-end local housing market is coming out of its extended hibernation, says Francetic.
   Francetic says the two-story, contemporary-style home was particularly appealing because of its “spectacular sunset views of Lake Mizell,” part of the Winter Park Chain of Lakes. Other features include six bedrooms, 8 ½ baths and approximately 8,213 square feet of living area, as well as a private guest house, a six-car garage and a boat dock with storage area and lifts for a boat and two jet skis.
   Built in 2007, the home had been originally listed at $7.595 million and had been on the market for about two years prior to selling, Francetic adds.
   “This is by far not only one of the nicest homes in Winter Park but the entire Metro Orlando area,” says Francetic. “It is a true showcase – inside and out – and truly deserving of its Home of the Year selection.”
