The Montclair Art Museum Affordable Art Fair Takes Place October 24

The Montclair Art Museum will hold its first affordable art fair, Collecting Art: An Affordable Art Fair, on Sunday, October 24, from noon to 5 p.m. in conjunction with the exhibition "Living for Art: The Dorothy and Herbert Vogel Collection."
 
Oct. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- The show will take place in MAM’s Leir Hall. Collecting Art aims to offer an outlet for the sale of artworks made by emerging artists from the NY/NJ metropolitan region and also to promote the affordable collecting of contemporary art for visitors. Artists will offer their works between the price range of $50 and $500. MAM will also be offering free admission to the Museum galleries throughout the day.

The following artists will display their works: Hana Aviv, Andrea Caldarise, Melissa Eder, Eileen Toner Petre, Peter Emerick, Dan Fenelon, Robin Frutcher, Gayle Mahoney, Kate Keller, Sky Kim, John Lee, Jennifer Anne Moses, Karen Nielson-Fried, Gabrielle Piedmonte, Claire Rosen, Scott Sorrentino, Terry Boddie, Vicki Pollack, Lisa Westheimer, and Kristen Zielenbach.
