Oct. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner Barbara A. Grimaldi was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program.

Grimaldi donated the grant to HealthCorps, a proactive health movement founded by heart surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz. The New York City organization works to fight the obesity and mental resilience crisis by getting American students and communities across the country to take charge of their health, through in-school empowerment and education and  community-based projects and events.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Manhattan community every single day,” said Grimaldi, whose office is located at 227 East 56th Street. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to HealthCorps and hopefully touch the lives of the kids who are involved.”
