Blush Gives Back Event Benefitting ArtWorks a Resounding Success

Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Englewood, NJ: On October 6, 2010 Blush Salon hosted a wine and cheese fundraising reception for Englewood based non-profit ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation. ArtWorks provides children and young adults suffering from chronic and life-threatening illnesses, and their siblings, access to creative and performing arts programs that encourage the use of the creative process as a vehicle for healing, communication, self-expression and personal development. The event was the culmination of a month-long exhibit and silent auction of the children’s inspiring works of art. Friends in the Englewood community came out to show their support while enjoying an evening of food and wine donated by local restaurants and vendors. The event raised over $3,500 in support of ArtWorks programs.

Blush Salon and ArtWorks were moved by the overwhelming support from local businesses who came together to donate wine, food, and luxurious raffle items. Food was donated by Hummus Elite, Ariel’s Restaurant, Shop Rite of Englewood, Brotherhood Winery and Ben & Jerry’s. Raffle baskets featured a wide variety of products from Benzel Busch Mercedes-Benz, Beach Bum Tanning, Spectacles, Learning Express, Vera Bradley, Jewelry Box, Little Steps, Emiliani Beauty Supply, East Coast Salon Services, It’s Greek To Me, Blue Mercury, Isaberry, La Puerta Del Sol East, Bennie’s and Baumgarts. And guests left with a fabulous gift bag in hand that included beauty products and ArtWorks note cards. It was truly a beauty-ful night!
