By: Michele Glazer This historic home, built in 1842, will be decked in full Southern finery for the Christmas season beginning November 20th through December 30th. The home will be open for normal tours during the Holiday Season: Monday through Saturday - tours on the hour from 10:00am until 3;00pm; Sunday tours on the hour from1:00pm, last tour at 3:00pm, closed on Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Barrington Hall was the home of Barrington King, who along with his father, Roswell King, co-founded the town of Roswell. Built in 1842, the Greek Revival Temple Form mansion remained in the King family until 2002. It has been diligently restored and is furnished with many original family possessions. Barrington Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was voted one of the 50 Most Beautiful Homes in the Atlanta area. The surrounding seven acres of grounds feature the only public antebellum garden in the greater Atlanta area.
