Follow on Google News | ![]() “IT’S UP TO YOU…” ArtWorks Fourth Annual Art Auction Benefit Celebrates New YorkArtWorks presents its annual Art Auction Benefit, An event to help fund art programs for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm at Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City.
Keeping in the spirit of New York, the live and silent auction will consist of items that New Yorkers will love! Donations thus far include: VIP tickets to Jimmy Fallon, Steven Tyler Signed Guitar, Tickets to the Spiderman premiere on Broadway, 12-month Membership to David Barton Gym, Spiderman poster signed by Tobey Maguire, Brooklyn Bowl bowling package, Tickets to David Letterman and Lunch at the Natori Showroom with top designers. The evening will also feature artwork by ArtWorks’ inspiring children. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to fund ArtWorks programs. Sponsors of the Art Auction Benefit to date include— The Diller-Von Furstenberg Family Foundation, The Russell Berrie Foundation and Theory/Helmut Lang. Founded in 2002, ArtWorks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children and young adults suffering from chronic and life-threatening illnesses, and their siblings, access to creative and performing arts programs that encourage the use of the creative process as a vehicle for healing, communication, self-expression and personal development.
