The UCB Theatre's Midterm Election-Eve Restoring Comedy Rally

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre will feature a split ticket of politically themed comedy shows on the eve of this year’s Midterm Elections. The night begins with The Tea Party’s Rockin’ Midterm Election Eve at 9:30pm, then at 11pm comedian Joe Mande will present a return performance of his hit adaptation of Glenn Beck’s ridiculous novel, “The Overton Window”.

The Tea Party’s Rockin’ Midterm Election Eve! - Fringe political extremists have paved the way for a previously unfathomable Republican comeback- it's time to celebrate! Conservative radio hosts Rick and Danny (former hosts of Captain Rick and the Hawk's Morning Madness) live broadcast from the largest Tea Party rally to date. We don't call it the Tea PARTY for nothin' folks, so come enjoy right wing political entertainment and special guests at this once in a life time spontaneous grassroots event.* Monday, November 1st at 9:30pm

A Reading of Joe Mande’s Screenplay Adaptation of Glenn Beck’s Novel: The Overton Window - Glenn Beck's new best-selling political thriller, The Overton Window, was so inspiring to comedian Joe Mande that he sat down and re-wrote the story for the big screen. Come watch as Mande and other comedians read the script on stage in hopes of getting a movie deal. Featuring a cast of NYC’s funniest comedians. Monday, November 1st at 11pm. FREE!
