Oct. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Attend and hear from over 40 world-leading SCM directors giving you a multi-faceted perspective into the latest retail logistics & supply chain issues, trends and progress. Bigger and better than ever before, LogiCon 2011 is THE place where the future of the FMCG logistics & supply chain agenda is shaped.

We asked FMCG and retail logistics & supply chain professionals like you about what they wanted to see from the event. They told us. We listened and most importantly, we acted on their feedback.

More good news is that LogiCon 2011 (http://www.wbresearch.com/logiconeurope/) brochure has just been printed and I wanted to make sure that those with an interest in retail and fmcg logistics & supply chain can receive a copy of it. If you're interested, please email me using on the contacts below.

Hear from top retail and FMCG supply chain experts

Just some of the 35 companies you will have the opportunity to hear from at LogiCon next year include Carrefour, Tesco, P&G, Diageo, Unilever and Carlsberg.

In fact, we caught up with Jan Steuber, European Supply Chain Change Manager at Mars and a keynote speaker at LogiCon 2011 for his thoughts on how he sees the market developing over the next 12 months and how Mars will be focusing its supply chain strategy in 2011.

"I believe the key change will be increased collaboration with key customers to ensure end-to-end supply chain performance and delivery" stated Jan. "We already see this at Mars where we are successfully sourcing more insights from our customers by improving our collaboration projects".

Jan recognises that LogiCon is an opportunity to look to other companies in the retail and FMCG space and to learn first hand about their methodologies for achieving process improvement.

"In the current climate, networking is key to staying on top of developments in our industry. For me, attending LogiCon will be a chance to increase my professional network. In addition to that, I aim to source three new and innovative ideas on how to improve our demand planning processes at Mars".
