By: Heather Blasko The following day, more than 1,000 school children from Huron Valley, Waterford, Walled Lake, Commerce and West Bloomfield will attend the field trip shows. WHEN: Monday, Dec. 13, 2010: 5:00 pre-show exhibition; 5:30 – 7:00 pm Polar Express Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010: School field trip shows at 9:15 am,11:30 pm and 2:00 pm WHERE: Located at 7330 Highland Rd. (M-59) Williams Lake and Airport Rd. across from MJR Cinemas. COST: All events are free. A canned food drive will be held during the events to PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES: 1) More than 50 costumed members of the Lakeland Skating Club, ranging in age from 7 to 17, will perform in solos, duets, trios and group numbers choreographed to music from the movie Polar Express. 2) During the pre-show exhibition, Team du Coeur’s five synchronized skating teams, comprised of 12 – 16 skaters each, will perform their competition programs for this season.
