Short story on Elvis' return still holds at No. 1, MP3 now available

Oct. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Bigger than Lady Gaga. More bite than an expose on Stephanie Meyers' vampire books. Would you expect a short story about the return of Elvis Presley to be at anything else but number 1?

That's the case for "The Second Coming", which has been tracked at No. 1 under "Popular Articles" since it was first published in late August, 2010 at Stockyard Magazine.com. The cutting edge online publication from Chicago has stories on former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Lady Gaga and Stephanie Meyers. The site ranks their popularity as well.

"Elvis is one of the top icons and with this story, I wanted to show how things have stayed the same and changed, since his death in 1977," Shiloh said. "Much has been altered on the American landscape."

While the story depicts riots and paparazzi mayhem, Shiloh has nothing but reverence for the son of Tupelo, Mississippi who changed the world with his brand of rock and roll.

Internet users can now download Shiloh reading aloud "The Second Coming." The MP3 is available exclusively from his web site (http://www.dlshiloh.com).

Shiloh is the author of the Chicago-based novel POOKOO, which has charted at Amazon.com. Brewza.com called the novel "a brilliantly written satirical look at our society's celebrity obsession."
