CANDIDATE23 release debut single: One For You

Nov. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- The band – made up of Will Hayes (vocals), Alex McIntyre (lead guitar), Jono Tringham (drums), Sam Bramhall (bass) and Andy Perrin (rhythm guitar) – will be releasing their first single One For You on 24 November this year with a star studded launch in Liverpool. Confirmed guests include Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, former X Factor finalist and Eton Road member Danny Morris, Shaun Rogerson and Girl Band B-Desire.

Liverpool artist, Peach, will also be supporting the lads by performing a half hour set at the launch night. http://www.myspace.com/peachmusicuk

Already attracting local press coverage after the lads began winning local talent competitions they have now started to come to the attention of some of the big promoters.

Although they are happy they have been described as a mix between Oasis and the Stereophonics the lads are quick to say that they take their influences from a variety of sources such as Green Day to Joy Division. As well as performing their own tracks they also cover hits from artists such as Kasabian and Jet.

19 year old Will Hayes says “being part of CANDIDATE23 is a really exiciting time for us all and one day I hope that all of our hard work and commitment will lead to us playing the likes of Glastonbury, V and T in the Park.”
