Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts champions CANDIDATE23

Nov. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- The party, held at Liverpool's exclusive Blundell Street, was to celebrate the release of CANDIDATE23's  debut single; One For You. The guests also included The Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, Girl band B-Desire, Ex Eton Road star Danny Morris, Shaun Rogerson and Liverpool singing sensation Peach who also performed.

Nicola Roberts, who has been supporting the band over the past few months, took time out of her busy schedule to attend the night. Dressed casually, in  green jacket and boots, Nicola gave an extra loud cheer as the lads played the first few bars of the Girls aloud hit, Love Machine, as a special thanks for the help and advice she has given them. The lads have been mentioned on the official Girls Aloud website and their video remains on the main page of Nicolas fan site.

As a result of their performance CANDIDATE23 have been asked to play at the legendary New Picket in Liverpool on the 11th December as part of the Liverpool Youth Live Festival. They are also due to play the Zanzibar Club in February next year.

After the show lead singer, 19 year old Will Hayes, said "What a night? We've worked so hard for this over the past few months I cant believe we've actually done it - we all want to do it all again - I don't want this night to end"

Co-manager Danny Ray said "this is just the beginning for these boys. Just today alone they have had over 2500 brand new visitors to their website. The single is now available world wide and we have had an amazing amount of interest shown. I fully expect within the next 12 months CANDIDATE23 will be a household name"
