Release Party for Durham Radio Host and Author Beverly Mahone’s New Book – “Don’t Ask”

Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Durham, NC : In her new book, Don’t Ask and I Won’t Have to Lie: 50 is the New 30 and Other Tall Tales Mahone explores some of the subjects women lie about, why they do it and how those lies change as women grow older.  

The veteran journalist writes from her own experiences, while sharing the very personal story of a lie she told that nearly claimed her life.  She says, “We know lying is wrong but lying sometimes happens when it comes to what we will or will not reveal to other people—or our own denial about who we really are.” Mahone adds that after reading her book, you may not believe honesty is the best policy ALL of the time.

In addition to signing copies of her new book, Mahone will introduce a brand new card game she created called Don’t Ask. Attendees will be invited to play and prizes awarded to the winners.  There will also be door prizes and refreshments.
