GN Solids Control Get The API Q1

Nov. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Congratulations! GN has just got API Q1 certificate. API certificate is a rather reliable file in Oil and Gas drilling industry. Including drilling mud solids control division.

However, as we all know API does not regulate each mud equipments standard, design, technique, etc. But it restricts specific rules on manufacturing, procurement,  managing, quality control, etc.

Why GN can get approval from API? Why there are always so many clients choose GN Solids Control?

Infact, GN always manage whole process according to API standard. Cater to more and more clients' demand, we decided to apply the API. The clients are usually from big oil&gas drilling company, oilfield services corporation, etc. We began the preparation in this March. After API teachers' guaidance and our efforts, we submitted all necessary documentary and related information. GN achieved all the level and standard from API.

Based on API’s Spec Q1, Specification for Quality Programs, companies that either manufacture products to API specifications, or provide industry services not covered by an API standard, can apply for API Spec Q1 Registration. By meeting the quality system requirements of API Spec Q1, companies can show their customers they meet the industry’s demands by becoming an API Spec Q1 Registered Organization.

This specification defines the quality management system requirements for the design, development, production, installation and service of products for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industry. This specification also sets forth the minimum quality management system requirements, which applied in conjunction with API industry standards, are necessary to obtain a license to use the API monogram.
